MONDAY MORNING ALREADY? WHERE DID THE WEEKEND GO?

Oh, My God..I am so tired this morning, if I could I.V. my coffee into my body, I think I would. Lol....I have had three cups since 8 a.m...just does not seem to be working today.

How was everyones weekend? Mine was busy..as usual. I honestly don't know how it would be not to have to drive 200 miles every weekend...I usally have the Saturday in between to not drive much, but Justin had a football game at 9 p.m. Saturday night, so I picked him up Friday, turned around and dropped him back off Saturday evening.

Friday evening, after picking up Justin...we stopped by Hell-Mart....God, I hate that place. Never fails that I always seem to get in the check out behind someone that either does not have a credit card that will work, that they have to put stuff back, get a price check, or argue over a damn coupon....what the hell is up with having thirty check out lanes, only having three or four open??? Anyway, after that joyful experience, we headed home.....Hubby had to go to work, so the kids and I watched a movie, put them to bed, my neighbor was outside by their fire, invited me over to chat and have a margarita...our yards open right into each others, no fence so I left the back door open with the light on, in case the kids needed me, sat outside with her and her brother, chatting and drinking margaritas...was very nice to relax, because I was seriously on my way to a major meltdown, as the previous post/picture showed, I seriously had a hard week at work....lot of pressure on me right now, so the relaxation was needed.

I woke up Saturday morning in a much better frame of mind..so the hubby and I decided to take the kids out for breakfast..What started out as a great morning, ended up being very stressful...because we could not find anywhere to eat! See..we live in a college football town, their was a big home game on Saturday, so we had a lot of out of towners in..so it was crowded everywhere. We started at IHOP...too long of wait, hubby had a great idea to go 15 minutes across town, to this small town business restuarant...he had heard they had started serving breakfast...WRONG!...so, we went to this little diner downtown...I knew we should have turned and left the minute we got there....there was a sign on the door that stated they were a short a cook, so there might be a small wait...we figured it wouldn't be that bad, they were busy..but we got a booth rather quickly....needless to say 30 minutes later, two stressed out hungry little kids, a bad attitude teenager and 2 short tempered adults, our order had not been taken, we had not even recieved water or coffee....we got up and left. Aaron 8 yr old, had a meltdown on the sidewalk outside the cafe, because as we left, I did not pick up his "drawing" he was working on.....I embarrassed Justin 14 year old because we got up and left, by this point, I was ready to take everyone home and give them a bowl of cereal...I had had it!~but hubby was determined we were going to have breakfast somewhere. Guess where we ended back up? IHOP! 1 1/2 hrs later....What a morning! We did eventually eat, everyone apologized to every one else...all were happy! Even Max and Aaron, who fight all the time..called a truce, has evidenced in the following photo...

Although Justin still wasn't in too good of spirits..I snapped this while telling him, Smile..you know you love me!
We decided to go to the Halloween Store..I needed to pick up a few more things to complete our decorating and while there...the kids decided to try on a few hats/masks....we laughed had fun and all in all, the day ended much better than it started out....

Halloween store pics....
Justins Bob Marley look....
Max's Texas Chainsaw Massacre/Jason/Michael Myers..whatever impersonation...He was having too much fun trying stuff on....

Aaron decided to "Party like a Rockstar", with his Gene Simmons impersonation mask..
No, I did not try any on...I might have messed up my hair..heaven forbid!

Ok..well, I guess that is enough for now...to the two of you that are reading/still reading...
Dixiechick out...
