Full 2 hours....Oops!

Guess I was wrong in my last post, it was a full two hour show...both men and women. Wow, what a show it was!

I was of course most impressed with Helio and Julianne....Helio is not only the "King of Speed", he is the King of Charm...their performance was awesome, right on beat..never lost a step. The coreography of their dance was difficult, He aced it...he was definitely in overdrive compared to last week. The chemistry between the two of them is electrifying, it actually gave me goosebumps! They finished the night in the lead...with 27 points.

Next, coming in second for the night, we have Sabrina(Cheetah Girls) and Mark...last week, they ended the night with the highest first time score ever (27)...this week, they performed the Quick-Step, giving us a "Blistering" performance. They were very vibrant....never missed a beat, ending the night with a score of 26....Awesome job.

In third place, with 24 points, we have Marie Osmond and Johnathon Roberts....they performed the Mambo...acutually gave us a great performance, pulling off the "Death Drop", which for a woman with little dance experience was a feat in and of itself. Marie was referred to as "One hot Cougar"...they are definitely contenders to reckon with in this show

Fourth Place, with (23) points....came from Mel B (Spice Girls) and her partner Maksim...

I felt like they did an ok job....it seemed to me she was kind of stiff. She was referred to as a mix between Lena Horne and Ginger Rogers....????? Did not really see the similarities myself...don't expect to see them stay to the end though.

There were five couples that tied for fifth with (21) points....Albert Reed (male model) and his partner Anna...kind of sweet that he dedicated his QuickStep performance to his Grandpa...who was a ball room dancer. His performance was very exhuberant/joyful personality. Just call him "Skippy", he kind of skips when he dances. Referred to as the "Dark Horse" of the season.

Then, we had Jenny Garth (90210 fame) and her partner Derek...they ended their Quick-step performance with (21) points as well. The Dance definitely suited her, moved well, I felt her posture was a little stiff, then oh, My God...they fell at the end. Derek tried to say he tripped over the dress she had on, but even still, they both gave 100%! Another 21 point score came from Cameron (soap star) and his partner Edyta...they performed a very sexy version of the Mambo...Cameron was a little off-beat with the music, somewhat wooden at first, needs to relax more..He "looks like Superman, dances like Clark Kent"..overall, I felt they were better than last week.
Boxer Floyd MayWeather and his partner ended the night with (21) points as well, performing the Quick-Step, which with his profession, really worked for him. His footwork was good, didn't miss a step. Big Improvement over last week!

The last couple, with (21) point score was our favorite Dr. Quinn...Jane Seymour, with her partner Tony....they performed the Mambo...which I felt was rather boring. I did not feel she was very confident with herself...she was referred to as a "Boring English Rose"...for the mambo, it was not sexy or sassy enough.

Sixth place was held by Mark Cuban (billionaire) and his partner Kim...they performed the Mambo. They were very exhuberant, you can tell Mark his very dedicated and determined to win. Although one of the judges referred to him as a "Bulldog-Chasing a squirrel"..overall, I thought they did ok, just not one of my favorites. His facial expressions kill me. Last place couple, Wayne Newton and his partner Cheryl Burke...wow, I am at a loss for words. He needs to stick to stage performances in Vegas. Their Dance, the Quick-Step, was very red carpet, his technique still needs a lot and I mean a lot of work. They were not any better than last week, ending the night with (15) points. Don't get me wrong, Wayne is an icon, but I think he is a little out of his element here, I foresee him going home tonight.
Well, peeps...that is all I have for now...tune in tonight to see who gets voted off. As I stated, I truly believe Wayne is going home. 9 P.M...CBS. Be watching...we will discuss tomorrow.

DixieChick...out!
